Bruce R. Connolly

Bruce R. Connolly specializes in the areas of matrimonial and family law, criminal defense, and general civil litigation. At Raiser & Kenniff, P.C., Bruce leads the firm’s Family and Matrimonial Practice, where he has handled many complex matters involving divorce, custody, and domestic violence. On the criminal side, Bruce has defended hundreds of clients charged with misdemeanors and felonies. At the start of his legal career, Bruce was a summer intern at the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office and then worked as an associate at Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP.
A native New Yorker, Bruce has roots in New York City, Westchester County, and Long Island. Bruce graduated from Notre Dame Law School in 2007, where he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics & Public Policy. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science at Fordham University, where he graduated summa cum laude and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Bruce is also a proud alumnus of Regis High School in Manhattan.
Mr. Connolly is a member of the bar of New York State, and he is admitted to practice in the federal courts of the Southern and Eastern District of New York. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association as well as the New York Criminal Bar Association and the Regis High School Bar Association.
In addition to being a New York criminal defense lawyer Bruce Connolly also serves on the Young Executive Committee of the Saint Joseph Parenting Center in Stamford, Connecticut. Bruce lives in lower Manhattan with his wife, who is a marketing professional. He enjoys traveling, running, and attending professional and cultural events in New York City.
